Now a tourist and hiking hotspot, the Waterfall and it’s surrounding mountain trail make up what Dyserth is well known for. Falling some 70 feet over this waterfall the river proceeds to make it’s way westwards and joins the River Clwyd west of Rhuddlan. Once a year Dyserth Waterfall plays host to the annual duck race, where members of the public can purchase a duck and watch it race down the flowing river through the town, the winner receives a prize and all proceeds are donated to charity after the event.
There’s a small admission charge of 50p per person to maintain the grounds at the falls, also at the entrance is a small cafe/ice cream shop.
